Hofstra Student Emergency and Assistance Fund

During the difficult and uncertain public health crisis, many of our students are experiencing financial hardships. Today we are asking alumni and friends to support our students with a gift to the Student Emergency and Assistance Fund.

Hofstra Student Emergency and Assistance Fund

In this time of uncertainty, we hope that you, your family, and your loved ones remain safe and healthy.

Hofstra continues to monitor guidance issued by local and federal authorities to make decisions about classes and campus activities in the weeks ahead.  All Hofstra faculty and staff are working remotely, with the exception of designated on-campus personnel.

Because safety is imperative, we have asked students (except for those with exceptional circumstances) to vacate the residence halls. We have also determined that we will be fully online through the end of the semester.

We believe these actions are a necessary safeguard, however, we also recognize that many of our students are experiencing financial hardships during this difficult and uncertain public health concern.

We are asking alumni and friends to support our students by giving to the Student Emergency and Assistance Fund

The Hofstra Student Emergency and Assistance Fund provides critical support to students in need as a result of current circumstances. These funds are necessary for all students to continue pursuing their education while prioritizing health and safety

Your gift will provide students with time-sensitive support in areas like transportation and housing assistance, technology and food expenses, and other essentials to help students complete their schoolwork in a remote environment.

Your generosity could be what enables a student to continue pursuing a Hofstra education, despite the disruptions of uncertainty and financial hardship.
