The Hofstra University Black/Hispanic Alumni Association (BHAA) was established in 1990, as a way to give-back to Hofstra’s Black/Hispanic community. One of the major goals of BHAA is to promote excellence and be a financial support to students of African-American, Caribbean-American, African or Hispanic descent who are pursuing their undergraduate degree at Hofstra.
What can YOU do to help boost the BHAA Annual Scholarship Fund?
Join our 2021 campaign, "$30 for 30" with a gift of $30 or more to make a difference in a student’s life at Hofstra University as we reflect on 30 years of service.
Through the generosity of alumni, family and friends of the Hofstra community, BHAA has provided scholarships to many students. The BHAA Annual Scholarship Fund was created to provide financial assistance for talented undergraduate students from the targeted student population. Since its inception, this annual scholarship fund has been a vital resource to eligible students and we want to continue being a resource to these students. The increased cost of an education makes it especially important for us to assist students financially during their time at Hofstra.
Make a contribution to this scholarship to ensure its recipients' continued success at Hofstra.
