The Allegro con Brio Music Alumni Association at Hofstra University is comprised of an impressive and wide variety of alumni, who are accomplished and distinguished performers, educators, arts administrators, and music professionals across the globe.
As you are keenly aware, securing funding for music students is very challenging. All music alumni, family, and friends are encouraged to consider making a gift to support a worthy music student who has achieved a certain degree of success through talent, tenacity and hard work.
In honor of Professor David Lalama, who is retiring after 37 years of directing, teaching and performing jazz on the stages of Hofstra University, we hope to raise enough funding to establish the Allegro con Brio Alumni Association Annual Award.
If you have never made a gift to the Allegro con Brio Music Alumni Association please make one today to ensure students are given opportunities for continued success at Hofstra. If you have given in the past but not recently, please give again. We appreciate each of you for uniting with us in this worthwhile endeavor.
