The Higher Education Leadership and Policy Studies (HELPS) Program prepares students to pursue impactful careers leading higher education institutions, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies focused on higher education leadership and policy. HELPS students receive an interdisciplinary education exploring important foundational and policy issues and an introduction to educational leadership in higher education settings. The program provides flexible course delivery methods to meet the diverse needs of students. Hofstra University’s School of Education offers an M.S.Ed. in Higher Education Leadership and Policy Studies and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, including one strand with a focus on higher education leadership and policy. 

The Annual Scholarship for HELPS within the School of Education provides financial assistance to academically talented students with financial needs as they pursue a graduate degree in this important field.
