Liel Pink HPHS Community Health Fund

The life of Liel Dena Pink (2001-2022), Class of 2022 alumna of Hofstra University's School of Health Professions and Human Services, serves as an inspiration to our entire community of students, faculty, and staff. Though battling illness through a global pandemic, Liel completed her studies, graduating summa cum laude despite the added challenge of learning virtually even after her peers returned to class in-person. Her scholastic achievements, contributions to her learning community, and advocacy for the health and well-being of others created a legacy that will have a far-reaching impact, one student at a time. While we mourn the loss of Liel, we continue to honor her strength, resiliency, and grit as she fought against all odds to complete her degree. In honor of her selfless commitment to improving the lives of individuals, families, communities, and society, a memorial fund to provide scholarships for Hofstra University's Community Health program has been established in Liel’s name.
